AI Prompt Kit - EMEA
For Sales, Traders & Structurers in Structured Products — Nomura EMEA
Objective:
Pitch a credible business case for an AI-powered solution that could unlock $100K+ in new revenue or cost savings within 10 months.
📌 This is not a hackathon. We’re building the business case — not the tool itself.
Use AI as an associate to:
-
Sharpen your use case
-
Stress-test feasibility
-
Improve the business case narrative
-
Draft the pitch deck
🔍 Prompt 1: Opportunity Scan — Start with the Real Pain
As a [sales / trader / structurer] in Structured Products business at a global securities firm operating in EMEA, identify 5 real, high-leverage painpoints where AI could generate $100K+ in revenue or savings in 10 months.
Consider:
-
Where do we lose money, deals or trust today?
-
Where is client demand rising but hard to service?
Layer the solutions: Predictive mathematical models + Generative tools + human in the loop
For each painpoint, describe:
-
The business use case — real-world scenario with context
-
The pain it solves — make it real and tangible
-
A realistic AI-powered solution (tool type + data source)
-
Why it matters now (urgency, value at stake)
🎯 Shortlist ONE high-potential use case that feels real, urgent, and valuable.
🧪 Prompt 2: Is It Really AI?
Stress-test [insert solution] to make sure it's a truly AI solution, not just automation:
-
Is this solution non-deterministic?
-
Could it be solved with rules and automation? (If yes, it's not AI.)
-
Where does the model learn, infer, or personalise over time?
-
Where would it fail without data?
📊 Prompt 3: Market & Feasibility Check
-
What are existing AI solutions or case studies that address this painpoint?
-
Are any leading securities firms, fintechs, or vendors using AI this way?
-
What regulatory trends or constraints apply for structured products in the EMEA region?
-
Is this solution technically feasible in a typical securities firm’s infrastructure?
-
What datasets are required? Proprietary and/or public?
-
What blockers or risks exist?
Option:
Use the Deep Research feature.
💼 Prompt 4: Commercial Framing — Is It Worth It?
Evaluate the commercial strength of this AI solution.
-
What KPIs would prove it’s working?
-
What is the estimated revenue upside or cost reduction in $?
-
Where does it align with firm-level strategic goals in EMEA?
-
Could this solution realistically generate at least $100,000 in new revenue or savings within 10 months?
📣 Prompt 5: The Big Ask — Scope the MVP, Don't Build It
Define the MVP scope, but don’t design it — this is a pitch, not a build.
-
What’s the first client use case or product segment to pilot?
-
What internal support (Business, Tech, Risk, Compliance, senior stakeholder support) do we need - and how do we build it right from the start?
-
Outline the budget, people, tech and compliance resources required.
-
How can we establish compliance by design, not as an afterthought?
-
Which vendors might we partner with?
-
What could block this — and how do we de-risk early?
🧑💼 Prompt 6: Pitch Deck — Pitch the Business Case
Build a 5-slide internal pitch deck designed to win support from a panel of C-suites at a global securities firm. Each slide must speak the language of commercial value, competitive risk and strategic urgency — not just operations or technology. Avoid buzzwords. Be blunt, specific, and outcome-focused.
Structure as follows:
Slide 1: The Strategic Painpoint
Highlight the real, high-leverage paintpoint. Show the real-world business impact. Use language that would make a COO say, “This is unacceptable.”
Slide 2: The AI-Powered Solution — and Why Now
Describe the AI solution in commercial terms, not technical jargon. Answer: Why now?
Slide 3: Feasibility & Risk
Demonstrate that the solution is safe, achievable and low-friction to pilot. Highlight how risks are being actively de-risked by design.
Slide 4: Commercial Impact
Quantify the upside. Show a credible path to $100K+ in 10 months. Include KPI examples and business levers. Position this as a low-cost, high-return bet that aligns with strategic priorities in EMEA.
Slide 5: MVP Scope & The Big Ask
Define a tight, high-leverage MVP with a clear use case, timeline, and success criteria. Then state clearly: What are we asking for — budget, data access, cross-functional support — and why we need it now.
Optional:
Use Gamma.app to create the presentation slides.
Prompt 7: Pitch
Build the pitch deck.
