First, here is what coaching is not.


Coaching is NOT consulting.

SAME: Both coaching and consulting involves goal-setting, planning and change management.


DIFFERENT: You hire a consultant to give you the right answers, and you hire a coach to ask you the right questions. A consultant puts the solutions in, and a coach pulls the solutions out. 


Coaching is NOT therapy.

SAME: Both coaching and therapy create safe spaces which invite self-reflection, self-awareness and behaviour change. 


DIFFERENT: Coaching focuses on achieving business results, and therapy focuses on healing. Coaching looks to the future to guide action in the present, and therapy looks to the past to explain the present.


So, what IS coaching?


Coaching is about helping you unlock the best way for YOU to lead in your organisation. While there are plenty of books and courses on how to lead, there is no book or course on the best ways for YOU to lead. To lead in the way only YOU can, given your story. To be the first leader like YOU.


Coaching aims to align your values and vision with the organisation's. It’s for this reason that coaches can help make a substantial impact by actually working with you on enhancing your personal leadership qualities within the structure of your organisation so that you can achieve your goals faster - both your personal goals AND the organisation's.



New to role leader looking to facilitate quicker transitions: Develop a better understanding of the dynamics and requirements of your new role and adapt to it in a manner that is authentic and consistent with who you are. Because pretending to be someone else simply won’t scale. You will get the best results from coaching if:

You don’t need these to begin the coaching process:

  • Clear goals

  • High emotional intelligence

  • Communication skills

These qualities emerge as a result of the coaching process. They are not prerequisites for coaching.

  • You are unwilling to look inwards

  • You are resistant to being open and emotionally vulnerable​



Our coaching engagements are all about getting to your result. Investing in yourself is a joyful experience and we want to keep our subscription model clean and simple, a month-by-month engagement approach.

  •  Typically, coaching engagement is 3 or 6 months.

  • 2 x 60-minute sessions per month which include support on an as-needed basis (for example, WhatsApp or short call to prepare for the difficult conversation).
